As if I needed another page dedicated to me, am I right? Well actually, this page is a just a summary of who I am, professionally and off the clock. As of this writing, I'm 20 years old and have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Game Development. I graduated with said degree from Full Sail University in June of 2008 along with about 30 other brilliant and talented individuals. My strong suits are detailed documentation skills, strong commenting and variable naming practices, determination, and self-motivation. I work best in a team environment but can be self-directed once individual tasks have been assigned, and I thrive under pressure. My repertoire contains two games I'm very proud of (both of which are school projects, yet have qualities not present in my peers' games: see Projects), and that will soon increase once I'm finished with my side projects. I program in C++ (and to a lesser extent C, C#, and Java), and primarily for the PC, but I've had experience working on the GameBoy Advance (ARM-7 processor). While we're on the topic of C++, I've got experience with the Win32, DirectX 9 (including Direct3D and DirectInput), OpenGL 2.0, and even the Maya C++ Plugin APIs. This is basically my resume in paragraph form, but if you want to take a look at the real thing, you can do so right here: download Theo's resume.

Now for my less-technical side. Unfortunately, I'm still a geek: I play video games, surf the internet, read fantasy novels and even play Dungeons & Dragons in my spare time. My favorite music genre is Epic/Fantasy Metal, though I like most forms of rock, and even some classical/symphonic. I don't hate any particular genre, but I do hate songs that are unoriginal or which technically don't qualify as music. I own an electric guitar, though I don't play it as often as I should, and even then I don't know many songs: mostly video game themes or my own songs. And for some reason even I don't know, I absolutely ADORE puns.

The kinds of games I play cannot be boiled down to a single genre: I play things from across several genres, though I do have favorites. The only genre I can think of off the top of my head that I enjoy is RPGs, as most everything else falls into the ever-ambiguous Action genre. I worship Zelda, I love the Tales series, and will give most everything else a fair shot. I'm not a big FPS fan, but certain ones I'll play from time to time: namely Perfect Dark, Portal and Metroid Prime (the latter two of which techincally aren't FPSs).

I can't think of much more at the moment, but I'll update this page when it hits me!

Aaaand here's a picture of me. It's a bit old, and it was taken with my crappy camera, but I look pretty much the same.
